Detail Parts You Can Print!

Welcome to the download section. With the ever growing parts on my website I found it helpful to organzie these in sub categories. The first one being the InterMountain 1937 A.A.R. box car kit that is an excellent choice for every modeller in O scale.

Freight Car Parts

This Chapter is all about freight cars. You’ll find different doors, trucks and detail parts that might help you modelling your railroad.

Passenger Car Parts

Various underframe parts and at a later date interior details can be found in this section. At this time I’m working on the air conditioning equipment with a Waukesha Ice Engine.

Various Detail Parts

Brake shoes for truck conversions, Door hardware less doors and other little parts like warehouse hand trucks can be found here.

Here’s a quick video about the design, how I slice the file in Lychee Slicer and a guide on putting the parts together. Please remember, English is not my mother language but I am constantly improving my vocabulary 😀

What's up next?

I am working on the 3 panel Creco doors, in important type for the 1937’s. Since many of these cars had 8/8 rung ladders instead of the 7/7 rung ladders that come with the kit, I am currently teaming up with a professional company to make etched parts for this ladder type, as well as stirrups in etched brass. Also I am planning on preparing patterns for a laser cut / engraved wooden roof walk and ultimately a super detailing kit for steel Apex roof walks that were used on many of the protoype cars. There’s much do be done still but I really think the IM kit is worth the effort.

Also I am planning on providing all door types as automobile box car double doors. I have several InterMountain kits with double doors and it is of course possible to cut out a part of the car side to make room for the second door should you not be able to locate such a kit.
